from OutOfMemoryError in AsyncThread.run

I suggest replacing AsyncAppender with [Async Loggers|http://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/async.html] since the latter provide the ability to configure a custom error handler. This should allow you to solve the problem.

> We have a test that allocates too much memory, causing {{OutOfMemoryError}}s for a short time.
> Because {{AsyncThread.run()}} doesn't handle them in any way, the thread exits, and all the logging threads block in {{AsyncAppender.append()}}, hanging the test suite.
