[jira] [Commented] (DIRSERVER-1561) schema modification fails

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-1561?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13046265#comment-13046265 ]

Aaron J Angel commented on DIRSERVER-1561:
------------------------------------------

What is the proper way to do this, then, with the posixGroup example -- does the stock NIS schema (or perhaps just the posixGroup class) need to be deleted and recreated or can it just be disabled and a new one created? This is rather important when setting up a new directory implementing rfc2307bis.

> After enabling the nis schema and modifying the posixGroup objectclass from structural to auxiliary and refreshing the schema in Directory Studio, the posixGroup class fails to show when attempting to create a new object until the schema cache in Studio is manually deleted (refreshing in the GUI does not work).
