[GitHub] [streampipes] dominikriemer opened a new issue, #422: Update Consul key value configuration for pipeline elements when reconnecting

dominikriemer opened a new issue, #422:
URL: https://github.com/apache/streampipes/issues/422

Pipeline elements store their service endpoint and configuration in Consul. Once registered the dedicated ID or route a pipeline element will not "change" this entries even though the config definition inside the pipeline element changed (e.g. occurs when developing and then deploying as Docker container).

Current workaround is to clear/edit the entry manually, i.e. key-value entries and services.

Imported from Jira [STREAMPIPES-224](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STREAMPIPES-224). Original Jira may contain additional context.
   Reported by: wiener.
