[jira] [Commented] (CONFIGURATION-736) Update Apache Commons Logging from 1.1.1 to 1.2

Gary Gregory commented on CONFIGURATION-736:
--------------------------------------------

I do not see us releasing from the 1.x branch any time soon unless a CVE is in play. Especially since overriding dependencies is so easy in Maven.

> This is causing some dependency conflicts in our project which we have to forcely resolve apache commons logging to 1.2. I believe it is anyway api compatible and should not cause any trouble. I am not sure if you are planning new version on 1.x series.
