VOTE: JSPWiki 2.6.3
Hi ho folks!
Since we didn't get any comments for 2.6.3-rc1, I turned it into a
real 2.6.3. These are not yet published on the wiki, but will be
pending the result of this vote. The signed binaries are available in
the following directory:
http://www.ecyrd.com/~jalkanen/JSPWiki/2.6.3/
Please vote +1, if you think the release is fine; -1, if you think
it's not (and let us tell why).
/Janne

Don't know what was fixed exactly, but at least I could edit the page
on jspwiki.org now!

Gotcha. This is actually a problem with localization files which I
forgot to update.
It does not work with the LeftMenu either...
*sigh* Back to the drawing board. I think I also found Florian's
problem with him losing edit rights... So I'll fix these and upload
a new 2.6.3.

Re: VOTE: JSPWiki 2.6.3
Posted by Juan Pablo Santos Rodríguez <ju...@gmail.com>.
Hi,
been testing & playing a while with 2.6.3. I've noticed an unusual behaviour
related to JSPWIKI-260 (link of ReferringPagesPlugin is wrongly rendered):
writing [{ReferringPagesPlugin max=1, maxwidth=50}] (to force more link) on
Main page renders following html:
<a class="wikipage" href="Wiki.jsp?page=LeftMenu">LeftMenu</a><br><br><a
class="morelink" href="PageInfo.jsp?page=Main">... y [2 más|{1}]\\</a><br>
that is, untranslated wiki markup is generated
however the same [{ReferringPagesPlugin max=1, maxwidth=50}] placed in
LeftMenu renders correctly.
Not very sure if this is a bug, is ReferringPagesPlugin meant to be placed
at LeftMenu??
Besides that, all seems to be ok
cheers,
jp

I would rather have people do the installation, etc, on their own. Since
this version had specifically installation-related bugfixes these cannot
be verified if I install it for you...

Janne,
Couold you push this e.g. to the sandbox ?
Would make live much easier to verify.

Yeah, I think it's a bit late. It's not like it's a major issue
anyway... We're btw quite far with 2.8. It would be great to get a
few more patches in for open issues...
So far we're at +2, neither of them from committers. Wake up ;-)
