How to launch hadoop from eclipse

Hi Guys,

    I downloaded the hadoop source code and imported into my eclipse IDE. I
can compile it without any error. It looks work fine. But I wonder how to
launch hadoop services from eclipse env.

    Thanks for your reply. The patch sounds great. Actually I wonder how to
launch the hadoop as a Java project application in eclipse.

Hi Jian,

FYI, I just submitted a patch to turn hadoop-common modules as OSGi bundles.

It's still work in progress (I have bunch of other patches in 
preparation), but basically it means that it can be deployed as Eclipse 
plugins.
