Description:
The current implementation (3.3 HEAD) of the composition framework relies on a runtime that is established independently of the composition model. If is preferable that we move control over runtime commissioning and decommissioning to the model, which in turn enables model-driven redeployment and alternative runtime implementations.

Outstanding issues in archiving this objective relate to the establishment by the model of a default runtime. This requires some sort of a runtime factory declared at a system level (e.g. via SystemContext), and the possibility to override a factory at a container or component model level (i.e. under ContainmentContext or ComponentContext).

A second aspect is the relationship between the model and the runtime - in particular, an model-driven event pattern is required in which the runtime responds to model based deployment status - enabling the triggering of event driven redeployment of runtime artifacts.
