[jira] [Updated] (HELIX-205) Have user-defined rebalancers use RebalanceMode.USER_DEFINED

Kanak Biscuitwala updated HELIX-205:
------------------------------------

    Attachment: 0001-HELIX-205-Have-user-defined-rebalancers-use-Rebalanc.patch

Attached the patch.

Right now, this was changed so that the existing code paths would still be followed. This is not the right thing to do in some cases; that work is tracked by HELIX-214.

> The fix for HELIX-166 introduces a new setting for user-defined rebalancers. There is some code cleanup necessary to properly make it work. Right now, it executes on a lot of code paths that assume semi-auto mode, so each of those needs to be evaluated to figure out if that is the right thing to do.
