JDBCVirtualUserTable Patch?
Hey all,
I submitted a patch for JDBCVirtualUserTable a while back, but I haven't
heard any response (maybe I just missed the responses). Did I submit
improperly or are my changes bad, etc? I just wanted to find out so I
can make any neccessary changes and resubmit.
Thanks,
Kenny

Kenny,
Hmmm ... I looked at it recently, and it was there. Unfortunately, I'm not
finding a local copy. I had looked at it as recently as the end of August,
along with his GUI config tool.
I am cc'ing Robert to let him know that if he doesn't plan to restore them,
I would appreciate if he would e-mail them to me (or the list).
Robert's code supported multiple users and error codes, both of which are
useful adds.

You know I just went and looked at it and I'm not sure the matching
order really did change, I think maybe my docs on it were wrong. I'll
need to run tests though.

I'm getting a 404 for that URL. I searched through mail-archive.com and
didn't find anything. Do you still have a copy of the messages?

I reviewed the patch when preparing for the last couple of test builds, and
had some concerns as I recall. I thought I had posted them; if not, mea
culpa.
IIRC, one concern had to do with changing the matching order.
I also think that there is merit to possibly moving some stuff to an
abstract base, and incorporating Robert Cadena's submission from April
related to non-JDBC virtual user tables:

Kenny,
I looked at your messages (subject "[PATCH] JDBCVirtualUserTable -
One-to-Many Mapping, Flexible SQL) of August 24 and 26: the patch never came
through, neither as "JDBCVirtualUserTable.java.patch" nor as
"JDBCVirtualUserTablePatch.jar".
Try again (perhaps as a .zip?).
