[jira] [Created] (UIMA-3100) DUCC RM: Defrag chooses inappropriate
job to remove.
Jim Challenger created UIMA-3100:
------------------------------------
Summary: DUCC RM: Defrag chooses inappropriate job to remove.
Key: UIMA-3100
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-3100
Project: UIMA
Issue Type: Bug
Components: DUCC
Affects Versions: 1.0-Ducc
Reporter: Jim Challenger
Assignee: Jim Challenger
Fix For: 1.0-Ducc
If a job declares fewer shares than the defragmentation threshold it is not considered needy, but should also not be considered for preemption during defrag. The code was not checking for this condition, assuming that any non-needy job is a valid candidate.
