         Environment: Debian 9.0 server, accessing Windows 7 and Ubuntu via virt-manager's vnc server.

The German keyboard settings do not allow to enter the following keys:
 * tilde ~
 * caret ^

The tilde results in a + typed while the caret shows nothing at all.

Many other AltGr keys work though:  \{[]} @
