jsp.xml & jsp-gtest.xml

What's the format of a jsp.xml file?
jsp.xml & jsp-gtest .xml are the same?
Is there any dtd specifying the content of those files?
Which is the utility of a Golden File?
As you see i need a lot of help about watchdog...
