Apache crash  with mssql_fetch_array (PHP 4.2.1)

Hi,
Apache is always crashing when mssql_fetch_array return a "not null" Varchar 
field (no problem when with Date or int fields). Same goes with Apache/1.3.24 
(Win32).

here is error.log content :
