Pravega Flink connector is trying to implement the FLIP-27 sources and trying to map the Pravega reader into the split. This leads to a one-to-one mapping for source reader and splits. For unit tests, Flink has offered the {{SourceReaderTestBase}} class to test more easily, but it has a {{final}} constraint in the NUM_SPLITS constant which the value is 10, which makes us hard to integrate.
