Help! 2.3 -> 3.0 URL format change for external pages

I'm trying to convert our app from Tapestry 2.3 to 3.0. I'm having trouble with navigation between Tapestry and JSP. In particular, our app "calls out" to a JSP page, with the parameter "callingURL" embedded in the URL string. The parameter value is constructed as follows:

String callingURL = getPage().getRequestCycle().getRequestContext().getRequestURI();

The JSP app does its thing, builds up a parameter list, and then finally attempts to navigate back to our Tapestry page by evoking a sendRedirect(callingURL);

When the JSP application tries to return to our Tapestry page (which implements IExternalPage), Tapestry throws an ApplicationRuntimeException in ExternalService.java, saying that there must be exactly one context.

I'm not going to be able to add Tapestry-specific JSP tags to the JSP app, because lots of vanilla JSP pages are using the same navigation mechanism.

So, in a nutshell, I need to be able to generate a URL that the JSP can use in its sendRedirect that I can eventually catch in an activateExternalPage method.

This all worked in 2.3; what do I need to do to generate a working URL in 3.0?

Thanks.

With 3.0, try a url that looks like:

/tapestry/wmc?service=external/SupportRequestFreelancePage

The URL that fails is:

/tapestry/wmc?service=external&context=SupportRequestFreelancePage

What does your currently generated URL look like?
