CAS and authorization

Hello,

I am curious about what others are using as an authorization layer under CAS authentication.  I need to grant 100+ users access but am concerned about how to allow these users access.  Can you layer LDAP groups or does it have to be a database?  Are there any auto-provisioning extensions?

Any info would be great.
