Resize root volume on 4.1; only with API?

Hi all,

before upgrading to 4.1 (from 3.0.2) i was resizing root volumes using
XenCenter and updating the correct entry in the cloud db.
I vaguely remember, that 4.1 should support resizing of root volumes.
Maybe it's only supported via API call? Am i mistaken?
How can one do it with GUI?

Regards,
F.

Thank you for your answer.
Hopefully 4.2 will support resizing of root disks via GUI.
I'll do it the old fashioned way now. :-)

There is obviously an API call for this http://cloudstack.apache.org/docs/api/apidocs-4.1/root_admin/resizeVolume.html but you can also do it from the GUI

For a Data Volume you need to detach it from the VM, then you can simply choose a new Disk Offering, including Custom to resize the volume, then re-attach it to the VM

Unfortunately you cannot resize Root Volumes just yet
