Stable production release?

Hi, we have developed a site under Tomcat and is now about to get into
production release but we have a feeling of that Tomcat 3.1 is unstable
and "shaky". I know this isn't academic, we can't point at anything
special, it's just a feeling. Is there any *more* stable release out
there?

I'm running Tomcat 3.1 on a Sun Solaris 7.

Would any upgrade to 3.1.1 or 3.2 or 3.2.1 make any difference? Where
can I find the differences between the releases without checking out the
source from the CVS repository?
