[DISCUSS] 6m review of marketing@ list

Hello,

Cross-posting this to the dev@ and marketing@ lists.

Six months ago I promised a review of the marketing@ list.

http://apache.markmail.org/thread/wu3gjidaws7ktkvh

I'm not sure there's much to report here. I believe the list has been
successful, and from my perspective, has enabled focused conversations
in a space dedicated to marketing activities. I have certainly felt
more free to post things there than I might on dev@, not wanting to
spam people with things like links for the weekly news. And I'm not
aware of any downsides or negative consequences of the list's
creation.

I consider the creation of the list a success. But I'm interested to
hear what other folks think. Please speak up if you have any thoughts
on this.

Thanks,

Hey,

I am seconding Noah's opinion. The list is a full success and we should
definitely keep it. Compared to other lists, marketing@ is really good:

Thanks for all the participants and especially Noah :)

Cheers
