[jira] [Created] (TS-1005) initscript should implement a reload
function
initscript should implement a reload function
---------------------------------------------
Key: TS-1005
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-1005
Project: Traffic Server
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Packaging
Reporter: Jan-Frode Myklebust
Priority: Minor
The initscript should provide a reload function, so that it can be told to reload it's configuration trough common interfaces ("/sbin/service trafficserver reload" on fedora/rhel). It looks like "traffic_line -x" is the tool to achieve this, so I've implemented this in rc/trafficserver.in. It's only tested on RHEL6, so I'm a bit uncertain if the other DISTRIB_ID's sections are correct.
