Generate nbsp in HTML

Hi all,

The following XSL:
   <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">&amp;nbsp;</xsl:text>

Generates the following HTML:
   <?xslt-next-is-raw formatter-to-dom?>&amp;nbsp;

But i need:
   &amp;

What should i do?
