[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-13402) Multiple flowfiles as output for Python Processors
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-13402?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17855129#comment-17855129 ]
Joe Witt commented on NIFI-13402:
---------------------------------
The general spirit of the request here is to add a simple python interface/API supporting the model of a single flowfile in and several flowfiles out. I think this presumes the current APIs support one flowfile in/one flowfile out. The API should also ensure provenance relationship is preserved such that all children have an implied parent of the input flowfile.

> This is a request to add the feature, where we can split an incoming flowfile to multiple flowfiles as output for Python Processor in NiFi 2.0.0.
> Use case: Input is a single flowfile which contains an excel file, and output would be multiple flowfiles, where each flowfile will contain one sheet from the excel file.
