setRegistryPath method in ConsumerEnvironmentImpl class

     In class 
org.apache.wsrp4j.consumer.portlet.impl.ConsumerEnvironmentImpl there's 
a method named setRegistryPath and I can't see its utility. The only 
purpose I can imagine is changing the registryPath for the 
ProducerRegistryImpl class on runtime, but this is a fixed directory 
WEB-INF/persistence. Can anyone clarify me this?
