I ran from Xcode 6 app, not from the CLI.
If you mean if I changed the Xcode version used with xcode-select -s /path/to/Xcode6, I didn't, but I have just changed it and tested again and it's still working.
Did you try to use the same code on a non cordova project on the same device and xcode?
Anyway, if it works on Xcode 7, even if we are able to reproduce, I don't think it will be fixed
EDIT: I changed the command line tools version on Xcode -> Preferences -> Locations and it's still working
