[jira] [Commented] (RAVE-822) Widget added message barely noticeable

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RAVE-822?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13542964#comment-13542964 ]

Matthias Niederhausen commented on RAVE-822:
--------------------------------------------

For me, the message is visible, even if I am in the middle of the list.
However, I agree that actually replacing the button with a link would be a better idea, as the change is more visible. In our use cases, we have never needed more than one instance of a widget on one page.

Another humble suggestion: if you can drop the message in from the top of the screen (instead of just appearing) and then fade out, it would be much better visible.

> When adding a widget to the workspace, the green message indicating success is barely noticeable, especially on large screens (because nobody looks at the bottom). This results in users hitting "add" multiple times.
> Proposed solution: make message bigger, move to top, show for some longer and indicate on the page that the widget is now on the current workspace (using a checkmark icon?)
