jakarta-tomcat-3.2.3.. strange problem..


Hii all,
I got the latest tomcat 3.2.3 and i am running it on windows 98 using jdk
1.3

I got a file called abcd.htm , and i get a 404 error when i try to access
it. http://localhost/abcd.htm

When i rename the file to abcd.jsp , tomcat is able to find that file, if i
rename it to any thing else also, tomcat is able to find the file, but it is
throwing 404 error for
all the .htm files, renaming them to jsp solves the problem.

any one ANY IDEA what's wrong ? and How can i go about correcting it ?
