[Issue 128339] New: AOO Draw & Impress, Sidebar: Navigator deck -
wrong tooltip
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=128339
Issue ID: 128339
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: AOO Draw & Impress, Sidebar: Navigator deck - wrong
tooltip
Product: General
Version: 4.1.7
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Trivial
Priority: P5 (lowest)
Component: ui
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org

Target Milestone: ---

Screenshots with wrong tooltip
prerequisite: "Extended tips" option is ON
Tools > Options > OpenOffice > General
Steps to reproduce:
1. open AOO Draw or AOO Impress
2. In Sidebar open Navigator deck
3. Hover mouse over vacant gray area next to row of icons
4. You will see tooltip:
"Opens the Navigator, where you can quickly jump to other slides
or move between open files"
This tooltip is:
- misleading: it appears in Navigator deck already opened. Moreover
clicking mouse in that area will open nothing. (Believe me - I have
tried many times to no effect).
- inconsistent with tooltip displayed in AOO Writer and AOO Calc,
which reads:
"The sidebar provides frequently used tools, grouped in decks.
Click on a tab in the vertical tab bar to choose a deck".
In attached file "Tooltip" I placed screenshots from AOO components.
Notice mouse cursor position.
