Steps:
1. Download Ganymede jee package from eclipse web site
2. unzip and start a clean ganymede
3. Install geronimo server adapter from "Download additionl server adapters", only choose "Geronimo v2.0 Server Adapter" to install
4. After restarting ganymede, there is no shown in Ganymede for Geronimo v2.0 Server Adapter
Symptom:
After additionally choosed Geronimo v2.1 Server Adapter to install, the two server adapters show out together.

Yes, no option to create a Geronimo v20 server.
Tried on Winter and no luck to make it work.

Verified on 2008/08/28, this bug is not fixed in the current GEP 2.1.2 update site. Just FYI.

Ted,
I think because "org.apache.geronimo.st.v21.{core,ui}" have dependecies on "org.apache.geronimo.runtime.v21", "org.apache.geronimo.runtime.v21" have to added too, when you added org.apache.geronimo.st.v21.{core,ui} to v20 feature.

Hmmm. Yes, I do see some v21 references in plugins/org.apache.geronimo.st.v20.{core,ui}/plugin.xml files. It appears v20 has dependencies on v21. We'll have to code these properly in all the appropriate files. Since Ganymede p2 doesn't work very well, can you try the scenarios with Europa Winter? When you say "there is no shown in Ganymede", does that mean you don't have the option of creating a Geronimo v20 server in the define server screens?

Well, I submitted a patch for this: 688121. I added org.apache.geronimo.st.v21.{core,ui} to the v20 feature, which I expected, but I also had to add org.apache.geronimo.runtime.v21, which I did not expect and do not understand. Can anyone explain why this is required?
With this "fix", when you install the v20 feature, you get v21 also.
