Arvind Prabhakar commented on INFRA-3763:
-----------------------------------------

After evaluating the various options to migrate Jira from Cloudera to ASF for the SQOOP project, it is decided that we will continue to keep issues filed in Cloudera there itself. New issues will be filed in ASF Jira and therefore the issue numbering needs to be adjusted so that it does not overlap with existing issues in Clouder Jira instance.

ASF Infra team: Please refer to [1] for details on how this can be done. Please set the starting issue number for SQOOP to 237.

Mark - thanks for the prompt turn-around. I verified the setting by creating a dummy issue in Sqoop and its ID was 301 indeed.

Tony, thanks for waiting. We are having a similar discussion for FLUME project on INFRA-3764 and will likely use the same solution for both of these issues.

Can you please join the thread on INFRA-3764 and share your thoughts?
