   Doing this creates many conflicts, more than I would expect. I tried to resolve a few, but I'm not familiar with Erlang nor CouchDB internals, so I stopped rather than creating a bugged release.
   
   To be honest, I'd be more confident to see a release created by someone who maintains CouchDB.
   I understand that you don't have much time for that. But is there a date planned for the next minor release? (again, the goal is just to be able to use Erlang 22+)

   We're creating "pseudo-official" (COPR) RPM packages for Fedora and CentOS, so using the standard RPM way (`rpmbuild`) is required.
