[jira] [Created] (SQOOP-1018) Sqoop2: Allow inheritance in configuration objects

Jarek Jarcec Cecho created SQOOP-1018:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Sqoop2: Allow inheritance in configuration objects
                 Key: SQOOP-1018
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SQOOP-1018
             Project: Sqoop
          Issue Type: New Feature
    Affects Versions: 1.99.2
            Reporter: Jarek Jarcec Cecho

Connectors are exposing configuration objects that are processed by {{FormUtils}} class to get internal representation (model classes). Currently only the the exposed class itself is checked for forms and inputs. It would be interesting to also enable inheritance here, to enable better form sharing across multiple classes.

It might also make sense to support inheritance on the {{Form}} classes as well.
