Logout & WLS 6.1

Hi,

we just migrated from WLS 6.0 to WLS 6.1sp1 and discovered that we are no
longer able to log out from our web application. We use a LogoutAction that
calls session.invalidate() and then forwards to the home page, which leads
to a new user authentication (we secured all *.do-URLs). That worked fine
with WLS 6.0, but with 6.1 the forward leads directly to the homepage
without any appearance of a login page. A BEA support employee told us that
according to the new servlet spec there is no re-authentication in case of
forwarding. So we changed the forward tag in struts-config.xml to <forward
... redirect="true"/>.
And that one solved our problem.
