Re: Subject: [VOTE] BookKeeper 4.2.4 Release Candidate 0 [ACTION REQUIRED]
There's only one vote so far, but I guess it got missed due to the
christmas break.
I'm extending the voting period until Friday 1pm GMT.
Best regards

+1.
I have run tests using candidate source and binary files, check various
files (README, NOTICE, LICENSE).
PS.
Find a day one issue in test case, but it is not related to the changes in
this release candidate.
Here is the link of the issue:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BOOKKEEPER-834
I would like to fix this issue, but please feel free to assign it to more
appropriate guy.
Regards.

Let me stress that we highly encourage developers to test release candidates and vote, and we would really appreciate if we could have more developers on this list testing the RCs.

Hi Jia,
Anyone can vote, but only committer(and specifically PMC) votes are
binding. However, the more people who try out a release candidate the
better, as you don't have to be a committer to find a problem with a
release.

Hi Ivan,
I am a rookie here, I think this vote is for committers only, right?
Is there anything that we could help on this as a rookie? :)
