[jira] [Created] (IGNITE-18521) Sql. Query hangs if exception is thrown in mapping phase
Konstantin Orlov created IGNITE-18521:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: Sql. Query hangs if exception is thrown in mapping phase
Key: IGNITE-18521
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-18521
Project: Ignite
Issue Type: Bug
Components: sql
Reporter: Konstantin Orlov
Look at the closure passed to {{taskExecutor}} at the beginning of {{org.apache.ignite.internal.sql.engine.exec.ExecutionServiceImpl.DistributedQueryManager#execute}}. Any exception thrown before the try-catch block will cause the root fragment not to be initialized and, as a consequence, the query will hang forever.
Let's add the proper exception handling to this place.
