Threading

I’m attempting to setup this parser inside of another program that needs to
be able to start a parsing operation and then continue with what it was
doing while the parser is operating.  Threading seems to be my likely
answer, but how do I go about setting it up in C++?  I saw that Xerces came
with .exe files for thread testing, but I didn’t see the sample code for
them anywhere.
