   then maybe we can try something like the following?
   
   ```python
   try:
       airflow_version = airflow.__version__)
   except ImportError:
       airflow_version = airflow.version.version
   
   if packaging.version.parse(airflow_version) < packaging.version.parse("2.4.0"):
   ... 
   ```
