[jira] [Created] (FALCON-191) Duplicate Package Names

SivaThumma created FALCON-191:
---------------------------------

             Summary: Duplicate Package Names
                 Key: FALCON-191
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-191
             Project: Falcon
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: oozie
         Environment: java, maven
            Reporter: SivaThumma
            Priority: Trivial

I have observed duplicate packages (org.apache.falcon.entity.v0, org.apache.falcon.plugin) in some packages due to which I have included their dependencies in a specific poms. they have eaten me time which in the last found that I was putting one dependency to mean another project's dependency.

Is this common in these types of projects or can we avoid such duplication ?
