Handling password on protected sheets...

Hi
    I read that POI does not provide an API for handling passwords on
protected sheets (there may be legal problems involved). Still, I could
really use some object which let me change the passwords from protected
sheets. It wouldn't be a problem if I it need me to provide the old password
before changing it. Does anyone has something like that? If you someone
does, please contact me offlist at kenosis@instaservi.com. Thanx in advance
for any help...
