Exporting BLOB data from HDFS to MySQL

Hello. I am using Sqoop 1.4.4 on my hadoop cluster. I have a problem while exporting BLOB data from HDFS to MySQL. I already searched about this problem and found issue related this problem (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SQOOP-991).

I want to fix this issue. I want to know that SQOOP-991 is already resolved. If not solved, Can I submit patch?
