There is a patch attached to issue 3138 that allows the build to finish without the adding the dependencies on yoko.
It does remove the default environment from one of the plan files (I don't remember which one right now though).
The patch on 3138 was created in response to djencks saying that we needed a different way to resolve 3057.
I do not know what other consequences there are to the patch except that the build completes and the resulting geronimo server does appear to be fully functional.
As far as I know, no one has reviewed the patch or commented on what the consequences of applying it would be.
