what are autorelationships?

from the startup log:

FINISHED LOADING ENTITIES - ALL FILES; #Entities=734 #ViewEntities=165
#Fields=7438 #Relationships=2496 #AutoRelationships=1835

Can anyone tell me what are autorelationships?

I think I may have worked it out...

Is it where a defined type="one" relationship from Entity A to Entity B
has a corresponding autorelationship from Entity B back to Entity A?
