[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-11611) Starting Solr using solr.cmd fails
in Windows, when the path contains a parenthesis
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-11611?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16531164#comment-16531164 ]
Jakob Furrer commented on SOLR-11611:
-------------------------------------
While testing solr-7.4.0 I noticed a new issue with special characters (e.g. a space) in the install path:
In _solr.cmd_ the line 61 needs to be changed as follows:
{code:java}
set "SOLR_JETTY_CONFIG=--lib="%DEFAULT_SERVER_DIR%\solr-webapp\webapp\WEB-INF\lib\*" --module=https"{code}
KO
{code:java}
set "SOLR_JETTY_CONFIG=--lib="!DEFAULT_SERVER_DIR!\solr-webapp\webapp\WEB-INF\lib\*" --module=https"{code}
OK
Unfortunately I am not familiar at all with the patch system used for Solr.
Therefore I was not able to commit these fixes.
