Templates for Vancouver Core+BigData speakers now available

Hi All

A little late notice, but by popular request, I've put together some slide
templates for the Vancouver Apache Big Data and ApacheCon Core events

These are 16:9 formatted, which I'm told is what the projectors use, and
include a few different options for most page types to pick beteween

Using images of Vancouver kindly provided by the LF, and with image editing +
style advice from a friend, I present these templates:
  * http://home.apache.org/~nick/ACBD16_Template.odp    <- Apache Big Data
  * http://home.apache.org/~nick/ACNA16_Template.odp    <- ApacheCon Core

Hope those help at least some people!

Thanks
Nick

You could, but you are free to use whatever template you like.

I think that would be nice!

I'm also using the template. It looks greater than when I try to make my
own template.

Martin,

I am thinking to use the Apache template and adding the OGC logo. The purpose would be to indicate the intent to coordinate.

Hello Georges

In my understanding no, each speaker is free to use the proposed
template or another one. In the ApacheConf I have seen so far (only 2),
I saw a wide variety of templates, many of them being apparently the
templates of the speaker's company.

Hello Georges

In my understanding no, each speaker is free to use the proposed
template or another one. In the ApacheConf I have seen so far (only 2),
I saw a wide variety of templates, many of them being apparently the
templates of the speaker's company.

Newbie question:

What is the expectation for using the templates at Apache Big Data and ApacheCon Core?
Should all presenters use them?

George
