[jira] [Comment Edited] (ARIA-78) API for retrieving plugin prefix
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARIA-78?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16017165#comment-16017165 ]
Ran Ziv edited comment on ARIA-78 at 5/19/17 10:00 AM:
-------------------------------------------------------
Actually, rather than the {{plugin_prefix}}, it makes more sense for the plugin to need access to where it was installed, which means an API in {{PluginManager}} for retrieving the installation path for a specific plugin might make more sense. I guess it depends on the use case, which so far we don't have any, so I'm keeping this issue {{open}} but on {{Trivial}} priority.

> Some plugins might require an API for the plugin prefix, in order to access where the plugin was installed.
> One should be able to retrieve it when inside an operation by accessing {{plugin.plugin_prefix}} or so.
