CMK 6.5.0 milestone/release

Hi all,

It’s been a while since the last CloudMonkey/CMK release [1], and I’d like
to propose that we start working toward the 6.5.0 milestone [2]. I’m happy
to volunteer as the release manager for this effort.

At present, there are 14 items tagged for the milestone. Based on my
initial triage and estimation, we should be able to prepare a release
candidate in the coming weeks.

With the CloudStack 4.22.0 release planned soon, this would be a great time
to align the next CloudMonkey release accordingly. If there are no
objections, I’ll share a more detailed release timeline based on your
suggestions.

In the meantime, if you have any issues or improvements for CloudMonkey,
please report them on GitHub or feel free to open a PR.

Regards,
Abhishek Kumar

Thanks for volunteering Abhishek, a new cmk release after 4.21 would be great!

Regards.

Sorry, I made a typo, I meant CloudStack 4.21.0 release (and not 4.22.0)

Hi all,

Update on the milestone/release:
We have managed to close almost all items for the milestone [1]. Some had
to be moved to the next milestone due to a lack of consensus or updates.
I'll proceed with creating an RC and start the vote thread.

Regards,
Abhishek
