[jira] Updated: (OPENNLP-68) Make statistical models available as maven artifacts and deploy them on the maven repo

Jörn Kottmann updated OPENNLP-68:
---------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: (was: tools-1.5.1-incubating)

Will not be part of the release. Only the models will be released to a maven repository. The project which contains the poms, etc. should be located in the sandbox until we have training data which can be checked in.

> Key: OPENNLP-68

> Project: OpenNLP
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Build, Packaging and Test
> Affects Versions: tools-1.5.0-sourceforge

> This would be really useful for third party application developers who use opennlp as a library to be able to load default models from the classpath.
> For each model, we need to write a very short pom.xml file that will then be used by maven to build and deploy a versioned
> jar that holds the model (the .bin.gz file in folder src/main/resource/opennlp/ for instance).
