Turning off JavaScript minification?
Is there an easy way to turn off javascript minification in a clean svn
checkout of Java Shindig?

[ANN] Mediated OpenSocial
Posted by Jordan Zimmerman <jo...@shop.com>.
I've decided to open source the work I did getting Shindig integrated
into our application. It's here:
http://code.google.com/p/mediated-opensocial/
I'm hoping the developers of Shindig won't mind my doing this. Please
let me know if I'm out of line.
Here's the project description:
Mediated OpenSocial abstracts the services that need to be tied into
your application without requiring any third party libraries. Once
you've implemented to Mediated OpenSocial you should be able to use any
OpenSocial container implementation (should there ever be multiple
implementations). Additionally, it makes adding Shindig to your
application/site much easier.
Comments welcome.

Re: Confused about GroupId
Posted by Chris Chabot <ch...@google.com>.
The first thing to keep in mind is that the REST API thinks about
'collections', so /people/@owner/@friends is the 'collection of people
related to @owner'.
/{userId}/@all is simply an alias for @friends, and is defined and used by
Portable Contacts (and keep in mind a portable contacts client is likely to
an initial query on /@me/@all, and do a drill down query on
/@me/@all/{friendId}))
I don't think @deleted is supported by any live container, but this is an
optional identifier for "people who's relationship with the {userId} has
been removed", since nothing really currently supports or depends on it, you
should feel free to ignore it :)
GroupId.Type.groupId is for when you support and use custom groups as well
(other then friend relationships, aka people who joined the "we love obama"
group)
The spec does a pretty good job of explaining all the possible selectors

Confused about GroupId
Posted by Jordan Zimmerman <jo...@shop.com>.
Can someone give an explanation of GroupId? It's confusing to me. In
particular, GroupId.Type. GroupId.Type.self and GroupId.Type.friends
make sense, but when will I get passed GroupId.Type.all
GroupId.Type.deleted or GroupId.Type.groupId and if I do what am I
supposed to return?

You could tweak the build to not create them. Just removing the YUI plugin
lines from the pom file should do it.

Thanks! Is there a configuration or a build option to turn it on for all
renders?

If you pass debug=1 into the iframe, you'll get the raw source instead of
the minified variant.
