> So i've been working on a lightweight javascript RSS reader that we might find useful to implement in the admin console. Users might find this RSS reader useful to viewing an AG syndicated feed should the community decide to start one. The RSS feed reader currently uses DojoX's scrollpane in conjunction with TitlePanes. This is just a first time implementation and i plan to figure a way to reduce it's size so it doesn't take up much screen real estate. Current existing problems is that javascript is client side so the reader can't go out and fetch external RSS files. Any input on a good way to accomplish this in a light weight fashion would be appreciated, otherwise i'll be trying to wrap this in a portlet to 'GET' the rss files. Make note of the different local feeds available and the possibility of highlighting certain feeds depending on the category classification.
