It can be fix by changing line 425 for HelpFormatter.java from
     pos = findWrapPos( text, width, nextLineTabStop );
to
     pos = findWrapPos( text, width-nextLineTabStop, nextLineTabStop );

Explanation:
     Start from second lines onwards the width of the line should excludes the
leading spaces, as shonw below
     xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.........    width
                   .........    width - nextLineTabStop
                   .........    witdh - nextLineTabStop
