Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: FOR-2
    Summary: book.xml entries with identical prefixes are 'selected' together
       Type: Bug

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Major

    Project: Forrest
  Component: None

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Jeff Turner

    Created: Sun, 17 Nov 2002 9:44 PM
    Updated: Thu, 21 Nov 2002 8:23 AM

Description:
If two <menu-item> entries in book.xml share a common prefix, then when the shorter one is selected, both will be. For example:

  <menu-item label="Index" href="index.html"/>
  <menu-item label="Index" href="index-new.html"/>

This is due to an oversimplified matching algorithm.
